TranspoBINGO 2026: Play Your Way Through the City

Play Your Way Through the City during TranspoBINGO 2026, February 5–12. This year’s game invites participants to treat non-car travel as play—where curiosity sets the route, exploration earns the points, and the city itself becomes the gameboard. At a moment when joy matters, playful challenges rooted in public and active transportation help us rediscover delight, connection, and possibility in how we move through the city together.

Players may mark one square per trip, with the option to raise the stakes by choosing more challenging squares or playing one square per round trip. Events and meet-ups throughout the week offer chance to mark squares, connect with other players, and play your way through the city. Open to all ages, TranspoBINGO encourages intergenerational play and meets people where they are, inviting newcomers, seasoned riders, and decisionmakers alike to explore and experience public and active transportation. At the end of the week, players can complete a TranspoBINGO scorecard and are invited to celebrate at the Active Transit Social on February 12 at Atlas Brew Works – Bridge District (a five-minute walk from the Anacostia Metro), where prizes will be awarded for creativity, curiosity, and play.
