About the Event
To celebrate Metro’s 50th anniversary, TranspoBINGO is teaming up with metrobar’s UNOFFICIAL 50th Anniversary Party for the Metro! on Friday, March 27 from 5 pm to 11 pm.
In the spirit of this year’s TranspoBINGO theme, “Play Your Way Through the City,” challenge yourself with a Memory Match, matching Metro’s past with the way we move through the city today. Ride Metro to Rhode Island Ave–Brentwood, take a station selfie, then head to metrobar for the party and meet up with fellow TranspoBINGO players to complete the challenge with a second photo. The station sits just steps from metrobar and was the first stop to open when the system launched on March 27, 1976. Share your ride and your “match” and tag #TranspoBINGO and #Metro50 to join the celebration.
